Thermo Plaque Face-lift

For over ten years, plaques.com had a very simple HTML website that a friend of the owner built for free.  It did the job.  But customers had to print a web page that contained the order form and do all the price calculation themselves based on the options they wanted.  They decided it was now 2014 and time for a change.

They didn't want to go completely e-commerce but they wanted a new site that had the look and feel of modern sites and was also responsive.  They wanted their customers to simply be able to choose options in an online form and the web application would do the calculations.  They also didn't want or need a database backend so each order would simply be emailed to the owner.

Another stipulation was that there would be no credit card handling on the site.  This made my life a bit easier and their costs a lot cheaper.

I built them a nice looking site for a great price and they have seen a nice increase in their sales since the site launched.  Customers love the new site and feel comfortable placing orders.
